Located in a quiet corner inside OCBC at Wisma Atria, Orange Mocha provides a conducive studying environment with well-lit interior, spacious tables and jazzy background music. The cafe is relatively quiet, although it can get quite busy after lunch hours.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they will even reheat your muffins for you! The food was a tad pricey, but their deliciousness made up for it! Unfortunately, we couldn't get their brunch options as the kitchen was under repair.
What we ordered:
☕[Hot chocolate - $6.5] - Lacking in chocolate flavour in our opinion and can be bitter for those not used to drinking dark chocolate. However, still an enjoyable cozy drink for a productive study session (7.0/10)
🍵[Hot matcha latte - $6.5] Earthy matcha flavours, with a slightly bitter taste that slowly transitions to a lighter, sweeter one afterwards. Adorable latte art, and absolutely delightful to drink. (8.0/10)
🫐[Blueberry muffin - $4.8]: Absolutely heavenly with a nice sweet buttery taste complemented by the occasional bursts of freshness from the blueberries. The crumbly streusel topping adds a nice crunchy texture to the muffin. (9.0/10)
🍰[Lavender earl grey cake - $8.5]: The buttercream was too sweet for our liking, which overpowered the earl grey flavour. However, the cake itself was light and delicious, with a striking floral lavender scent. (7.0/10)
Orange Mocha is truly a hidden gem, providing students with a conducive environment and delicious food to munch on.
